Theater director Danny is a gay atheist who adopts 12-year-old foster child Gideon only to discover the kid is a religious fanatic. When Danny reluctantly agrees to help Gideon on a mission to convert the locals to Christianity, the increasingly radical ideas start to create trouble in the community. Shot in Provincetown, this astute satire on religious extremism is also charming and funny.
