S3, E4: With Harry suspended, Daniel gleefully takes charge of the firm, but Harry can’t stay away and fights for control behind the scenes. Abby and Daniel inherit Harry’s client, TV movie star Zander Davenport. Zander claims his ex, Topher, has violated their NDA by writing a play about their relationship. Now Zander — who has lived his whole life in the closet — has been fired from the conservative television network where he featured regularly as the romantic lead. After Topher’s lawyer proves Zander was fired for his age, not his sexuality, it seems Abby is done with her difficult client — until Zander discovers Topher also has a humiliating new television series based on Zander that’s about to go into production. Meanwhile, staying with Lucy on her off weeks, Abby’s not thrilled to discover that Kelly, and her unsolicited opinions, have become an ever-present fixture in Lucy’s apartment. And Abby’s amicable coparenting relationship with Frank sours when she learns he’s introduced Nico to his new girlfriend Isabelle.
