S3, E6: An argument between Abby and Judge Chip Crombie at the courthouse escalates into a boot to the balls and a heart attack for Chip. Furious, Daniel orders Abby to visit Judge Crombie in the hospital and apologize. But when she arrives, Abby finds two women, Veronica and Jeanie, at Chip’s bedside — both claiming to be his wife. Jeanie, Chip’s second wife, retains Abby to prove her marriage to Chip is valid. Abby is thrilled to be proving Chip’s a bigamist – at least until evidence surfaces that Jeanie might have known Chip was already married, and could be charged with fraud...Daniel’s clients, Parvin and Farhan, are being sued by Parvin’s mother, Golnaz, for the unpaid childcare Golnaz provided when their daughter was a baby. But was Golnaz acting as an employee, or a grandmother? Meanwhile, Abby runs into Ben Cohen at an AA meeting. Jerri cautions Abby against dating someone else in recovery, but the electricity between them is undeniable. And unbeknownst to Lucy, Maggie reaches out, but Kelly thwarts her efforts.
