A rousing, dramatic ballet based on the novel of the same name by Franz Kafka. This modern production, rich in dramatic twists and turns, tells the story of Josef K., who wakes up on his 30th birthday to find three policemen next to his bed who want to arrest him for reasons he does not understand. The protagonist, confused and disbelieving, is then drawn into the machinery of justice, which entangles him in a maelstrom of strange events. The ballet of the Czech National Theatre performs a work that belongs unmistakably to Kafka and Prague and authentically depicts this world.
