Babette, a carefree dancer, reluctantly opens her small Paris apartment to Edo, a Congolese refugee and musician. Their uneasy coexistence is thrown into disarray when Mousey, an escaped lab mouse, comes into their lives. Between cultural clashes, fragile desires and shifting ideas of family – Babette and Edo must redefine what intimacy and responsibility mean.
