A police officer is killed and Wiktor is accused of the deed. He has to flee the country. During his escape he meets Marta and they fall in love.

After talking to officer Jaworski, Marta begins to doubt Wiktor's innocence. She tries unsuccessfully to contact Wiktor.

Marta attends a plastic surgeon symposium. Wiktor shows up there, but they don't have an chance to talk.

Marta learns that Victor is not only a liar, but also a murderer. She is certain that he caused Knapp's death.

Wiktor manages to spring the police trap set by Wnuk and Marcel.

Wiktor is concerned about the health of Marta and the baby. He can't get to them because the hospital is surrounded by police.
