Giorgio Tirabassi

A native of Rome, Giorgio Tirabassi is an actor best known for his extended run as Roberto Ardenzi on the Italian crime series "Police District." In addition to playing the career-ladder-climbing lawman for seven years on the long-running show, Tirabassi appeared briefly in the hit comedy series "Boris" and its 2011 movie spinoff. He is also widely recognized as Ombra, one of the main players in the "Ultimo" series of made-for-TV crime movies. Although Tirabassi began acting on the screen in the mid-1980s, he didn't achieve fame in his homeland until his first appearance as Ombra in the first "Ultimo" film in 1998.
