A Twist of Fate
S1, E3: Gaby has no time to process her failed marriage. She has to move on and address an emergency. Michal, a young Slav, has washed up dead on the beach. Despite her best efforts, Gaby cannot revive him. Upon further investigation, Andrés and Lucía discover that the tide didn't leave the body there. Just before the police leave the scene, Hugo, Andrés's brother, arrives. He introduces them to his friend, Amaia. After discovering that her husband is cheating on her, Gaby realizes that the stone shows her moments from her future that will come true. Therefore, Emma is in danger, and Andrés is the only person who can help her. He shows Gaby where his late wife had visions. Gaby touches the mineral and has a strange vision about Amaia, whom she has yet to meet. That same night, Hugo invites Amaia and Andrés to dinner. Despite the very recent memory of his deceased wife, Andrés enjoys spending time with Amaia. Andrés accompanies Amaia, a surfer, to the camper where she lives. He sees a van pass by, driven by the man he fought with at Geocorp, and quickly heads to the hospital. His instincts were correct: Michal's body has disappeared. Meanwhile, Gaby's concern for her daughter prompts her to look for answers on the other side. She enters the pantry with Emma and hugs her before stepping on the mineral. This time, Gaby sees something unexpected. Her children, Teo and Emma, are crying in front of a grave, her own grave.
