 
 In Cairo's bustling Egyptian capital, Hala only breathes. Outside her apartment, people's lives are constantly advancing, but she is trapped inside her own mind. Hala is battling the pressures of being a new mother, still mourning her father's death and struggling with dark thoughts. Hisham Saqr's debut feature begins here, immersed in Hala's isolated world, as she tries to connect with her son, her husband and finally with herself. Hala's life is thrown into even greater chaos when her husband is caught up in a bureaucratic nightmare. Without her beloved companion, she is forced to follow the world alone while trying to get him out of jail. Pressures continue to increase as it must carry a burden that is not sure it can withstand; until her closest friendship begins to show signs of tension. But one day, she finds a mysterious letter that, when opened, offers her a new perspective on her thoughts out of control.
