The movie is about Muthu who makes a living by cutting and harvesting thorns. He gets badly injured and scarred all over in a severe fire accident. So his mother asks him to leave for Mumbai to work in an eatery. But his life changes drastically, and he is inadvertently drawn into the world of crime. In spite of trying to get away, he is unable to. The rest of the movie throws light into his life after that.
