Darrel Wright

Darrel Wright was an actor who lit up the silver screen many times with his sidesplitting comedic genius. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Josephine Baker Story" (HBO, 1990-91). He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Home Improvement" (ABC, 1991-99). He also appeared in the TV special "David Foster's Christmas Album" (NBC, 1993-94). Following that project, he worked on the Mark Wahlberg dramatic adaptation "Boogie Nights" (1997) and the comedy "Out to Sea" (1997) with Jack Lemmon. Wright also appeared in "The Country Bears" (2002), "The Singing Detective" (2003) with Robert Downey Jr. and "13 Going On 30" (2004). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Nikki" (Warner Bros. Television Network, 2000-02). Wright most recently worked on the Anne Hathaway comedy sequel "The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement" (2004).
