Ian Bricke

Ian Bricke is a veteran creative executive and the founder of Ozone Avenue, an independent film and television production company based in Los Angeles and New York. He is a longtime champion of new voices and emerging talent. While at Netflix, Ian founded and led the Original Independent Film team, responsible for 250+ film releases and 42 Academy Award nominations. Under Ian's leadership, the division delivered both breakout audience hits such as "Rebel Ridge" (2024) and "They Cloned Tyrone" (2023) as well as award-winning prestige dramas like "The Power of the Dog" (2021) and "Rustin" (2023), while consistently targeting distinct and underserved audiences. Prior to joining Netflix in 2011, Ian served in acquisitions, programming, and strategy roles at Sundance Channel, IFCtv, and Epix (now MGM+). Born in Edinburgh, Scotland and raised in Lawrence, Kansas, Ian holds a BA in English Literature from Swarthmore College and an MBA from New York University. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences, the Producers Guild of America and the Television Academy.
