Following Frank’s dinner with mob lawyer Angelo Gallo, Gallo is shot, and Frank narrowly escapes with his own life. Meanwhile, Danny is called for jury duty, and winds up being the sole dissenting opinion in a murder trial.

Jamie becomes a target after intervening in an abusive relationship between a thug and his girlfriend; an illegal recording of Henry making insensitive comments is leaked to the press.

When Jamie is caught on camera committing what could be construed as police brutality at an anti-policy demonstration, Frank is forced to turn the case over to Internal Affairs. Also, Danny and Maria investigate a rape case involving a civil rights attorney who claims the charges were drummed up in retaliation for the investigation into Jaime.
