Ryan Culver grew up in Houston, where played sports and discovered his fondness for acting when he landed the role of Jed in the musical "Christmas on Angel Street." Through his school years and in college he mostly acted in local commercials. A Hollywood casting agent saw a picture of him and soon after, Culver began his professional career on the sitcom "Spin City" (ABC, 1996-2002), starring Michael J. Fox.
