Zohran Mamdani

Zohran Kwame Mamdani is a Uganda-born American politician. A member of the Democratic Party and the Democratic Socialists of America, he is the representative for the 36th district of the New York State Assembly in Queens since 2021. Mamdani is a candidate in the Democratic primary for the 2025 New York City mayoral election.
