Aakash, 15, just wants to create videos to post online, but his dad has different plans and enrolls him in the Genius Infinity coaching institute, where he becomes a fish out of water preparing for the Indian Institutes of Technology entrance exam.

Aakash is discouraged by his poor academic results, severe discrimination and the lack of a level playing field, and his roommates' shenanigans make it hard for him to focus.

Aakash's no-holds-barred approach finally manages to get him into section A, but Chandrakanth isn't too pleased with his progress and suspects foul play in Aakash's rise.

Chandrakanth's interference pits Aakash directly against Moorthy; the entire hostel faces the ramifications from the trouble caused by a few.

Moorthy's retaliation turns Genius Infinity into nothing short of a totalitarian regime and other students blame and bully Aakash for the situation; Aakash's parents pay a surprise visit.

After talking with an old friend, Aakash decides to leave Genius Infinity; disgruntled about restrictions, the students reach their breaking point and push back against authority.
