After encountering several problems in Boston, Toni and her sister arrive in Miami and move to their grandmother's place. Toni's biggest dream is to work at Lola's.

Leandro prevents Toni from being expelled, but problems with Sara soon arise; the spices of Toni's father end up having unexpected effects.

The school assigns a counselor to help Toni; she makes a risky bet with Sara; Natalia makes new friends; Dolores finds out what her granddaughter's plans are.
