The story of a pair of mobsters seeking their fortune in the Las Vegas of the 70s. One becomes the successful manager of a Mob-run casino but is undermined by his weakness for a glamorous hustler and his psychopathic friend's taste for violence. As the years go by and his fortunes wane, he realises too late that it is these two sidekicks who are responsible for his decline.
