When WWII veteran Paul returns from the war, he finds his wife has acquired him a job as a travelling salesman. On his first trip, he meets a beautiful Mexican woman who is pregnant, but unmarried. Paul agrees to help her escape the wrath of her father by posing as her new husband, but is drawn into her passionate Mexican family.
