Light-hearted thriller about a pair of detectives who are assigned to capture an escaped killer and set about watching the convict's girlfriend's house in the hope that he will return to her. The situation is complicated as one of the cops falls in love with the woman when he plants a bug in her apartment while pretending to be a telephone repairman.
