The unit travels to San Diego to profile a rapist and murderer who attacks his victims in affluent neighbourhoods in broad daylight.

The spirit of a deceased bride haunts her husband's fiancé because she cannot bear the thought of him loving anyone else. The haunting causes the bride-to-be to assume that her fiancé is still in love with his late wife, who was killed in a car crash on the way to their wedding reception. In an effort to make amends between the bride and her fiancé, Melinda tries to straighten out any doubts that the young bride has.
