Ariel decides that she must beg Hook in order to try to help her find missing Prince Eric. Meanwhile, Emma decides to finally let Regina try and teach her how to use magic at a high level.

In flashback, Snow and Charming make a special wish that Emma will be protected. The result of their wish has the whole kingdom bursting into song which infuriates the Evil Queen.

Hook aligns with Tiger Lily to find a way back to Emma, and Regina works to free David and Snow from the sleeping curse. Also, Gold and the Black Fairy come to an impasse, and Snow and Charming make a sacrifice, so Emma can fulfil her destiny.

Ariel is sent back to Storybrooke with an item that will help Belle find a hidden artefact. Hook, Neal and Emma set out to capture Peter Pan's shadow and Mary Margaret is upset that David concealed his poisoning.

Hook goes to New York to help Emma regain her memories so she can help her fairy tale friends and family.

Pan threatens to cast a destructive curse on Storybrooke residents which would extinguish all life. However, the community does not give up easily, and they band together in order to prevent him.
