Three seperate murders have taken place in Austin, Texas. The victims are two young women, and one young man. They were all seen for the last time at different but large social gatherings.

Jack and Rebecca try to throw Kate, Kevin and Randall three separate birthday parties. Randall has trouble making time for William, Kevin makes a decision regarding his romantic life, and things take a turn with Kate's gastric bypass.
