Elsewhere, Nola and Jeremy get up close and steamy, Patrick is happily reunited with his beloved Carmelita with the senatorial election just days away, and Ellen's brother shows up demanding to know the truth.

Karen is convinced that her impending fifth marriage - to family nemesis Simon Elder - is the one that will allow her to live happily ever after. Tripp is still suspicious of Simon's motives and wants Nick to make one final effort to stop the wedding taking place, while Lisa tries to make Nick jealous by taking Jeremy to the ceremony.
