Clark goes down to the caves to confront his biological father but Lionel catches him there and begins putting the pieces together - leading him straight to Dr Swann.

After a passenger plane crashes into the Potomac, suspicions focus immediately on the pilot. Alec and the team are asked to investigate the pilot’s personal motivations and piece together clues in the hopes of revealing the truth.

Clark and Lana discover an abandoned baby in a cornfield and take him home to the Kent farm. However, once the baby ages from a newborn to a seven-year-old in a matter of days, the pair realise that he's aging at a dangerous rate and frantically search for a cure before the disease kills him. Meanwhile, Genevieve offers Lionel an ultimatum: kill Lana or be sent back to prison.
