Melissa Roxburgh

Melissa Roxburgh was a Canadian actress who was best known for her roles in the films "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules" (2011) and "Star Trek Beyond" (2016). Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Roxburgh landed her very first film role in a major Hollywood movie at the age of 19. That film was "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules," which was based on the popular books by author Jeff Kinney. Roxburgh played Rachel in the film. The following year she appeared in "Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days," this time playing the part of Heather Hills. Roxburgh continued landing roles over the next few years, most notably on TV shows like "Arrow" (The CW, 2012-), "The Tomorrow People" (The CW, 2013-14), and "Supernatural" (The CW, 2005-). By the mid-2010s she was appearing primarily in films like the horror movie "Leprechaun: Origins" (2014), the made-for-TV movie "Sorority Murder" (2015), and the sci-fi thriller "Lost Solace" (2016). Then in 2016 Roxburgh landed her breakout role in the sci-fi action film "Star Trek Beyond." With her screen acting career in full swing, Roxburgh nabbed two noteworthy TV roles in 2017, in "Travelers" (Netflix, 2016-) and "Valor" (The CW, 2017-).
