Deadloch

Local football coach Trent Latham is found dead on a beach on the eve of the much awaited winter festival in Deadloch. Sergeant Collins initiates the investigation, but Detective Eddie comes from Darwin and takes over the case, causing strife.

Dulcie makes the community angry as she exhumes the former mayor's body. Sam O'Dwyer's boat is set on fire during a special Deadloch Winter Feastival. Eddie chases a hooded figure through the bush.

Another suspect's body is found by the lake and, though the victim has been dead for the last five years, Dulcie is quite sure that there is some link between this and the other two murders.

As the number of victims continues to rise, the pressure to find a suspect increases. Dulcie investigates and has to deal with a fragile Cath. In relationship therapy, Cath complains about Dulcie's lack of communication.

When the most compelling suspect ends up being a close friend of Dulcie's - it creates conflict in multiple relationships. Meanwhile the evidence is piling up, and more bodies are emerging.
