Woosin attempts to get his hands on Adamas to reveal the truth of his father's death. He enters the mansion of the Haesong Group's Chairman, Kwon Jaegyu, and feigns being a ghostwriter for his memoir.

Woosin tries to lure the security manager of the mansion, Taeseong, into his plan, but it proves more difficult than expected; Suni begins to doubt Woosin's true intentions of entering the mansion and is hostile towards him.

Woosin needs the help of Hyesu, the wife of the heir of Haesong Group, to find Adamas. However, Hyesu refuses to help him, and Woosin faces the crisis of having to leave the mansion; Suhyeon suspects murder surrounding a dead witness.

Woosin sets up a fake fire in the mansion to check the location of Adamas; Suhyeon thinks that Lee Changu, the man on death row for killing his father, is protecting the real murderer. He visits Changu and interrogates him.

Woosin has to get his student, Dongrim, out of the mansion as soon as possible. He looks for an opportunity to steal Adamas right away; Suhyeon, along with Seohui, secretly meets with the National Special Investigation Headquarters.

Woosin takes advantage of Jaegyu's absence to track the whereabouts of the disappeared Adamas, and Hyesu visits Jang to enquire about it; Suhyeon and Seohui are in danger after being attacked by Haesong Group's secret organisation, Team A.
