BANANA FISH

Ash Lynx, a 17-year-old New York gang leader, sees a man mortally shot and hears him utter the words "banana fish."

Skip and Eiji are kidnapped by Arthur and his people, and Ash is captured during a rescue attempt. Ash has an idea for an escape.

In prison, Ash meets his cell mate, the journalist Max, whom Charlie recruited to be his protector; after an attack sends Ash to the infirmary, he learns something about Max.

Eiji goes to Meredith's medical clinic; Griffin's sudden appearance causes Abraham to shoot him; Ibe tells Eiji to return to Japan.
