Holden Matthews wakes up from a 12-year coma with strange abilities and memories he cannot explain, and a mysterious woman gives Holden a warning. Later, Holden is attacked by a sinister stranger.

Holden tries to forget about the strange events he has experienced and lead a normal life. He attends a college party with Luke, but his memories of Willa cause trouble. Later, Tom and Diane attempt to bond with their now-adult son.

Holden agrees to a scary undertaking to learn more about his new powers and what exactly happened to him while he was in a coma. Holden and Willa grow closer, and Yellow Jacket makes a bold move in his quest to get to Holden.
