When Melanie's late father's thrift shop burns down, her dream of becoming a fashion designer turns to dust. A job opening at SFX, a clothing brand, gives her hope, as general manager Chris assigns her a task for selection.

Melanie is happy when Georgina acknowledges her designs, unaware of the latter's evil plan. Melanie displays her summer collection. Georgina encounters someone who reminds her of her dark past.

Melanie's initiative and talent help Chris close a deal with a foreign investor and finally get his dad's approval. Everything Georgina has worked so long and hard for is under threat when her deeply buried secret reappears.

Romance blooms between Melanie and Chris as he strives to prove his sincerity. Melanie easily forgives Stella, unaware of Stella's conspiracy with Georgina.
