Gwanseok has always had a knack for sniffing out money, so when Heedong comes to him with rumours of a sunken treasure, the two set off in pursuit of a potential fortune.

Gwanseok and Heedong arrive in Mokpo, where they're given a rough welcome by Captain Hwang and Beolgu's gang before setting off in search of the shipwreck's exact location.

With the shipwreck's exact location still unknown, a competitor arrives, intensifying the race; back in Seoul, Chairman Cheon wavers, forcing Gwanseok to hatch a plan to get him back on board.

Gwanseok and Heedong agree to partner with Professor Kim's crew; the newly formed team sets sail, while Chairman Cheon seeks favours by bribing an assemblyman with pottery.

Jungsook and Deoksan arrive in Mokpo, Jungsook to assess the pottery and Deoksan to find Professor Kim; convinced of the pottery's value, the team make their first dive.

The team get their first taste of success, and Gwanseok accepts a secret task from Chairman Cheon.
