During Ines and Chumpi's engagement party in Careyes, Michi and Marie Claire discover that they are after the same money, so they keep trying to trick each other.

Michi and Marie Claire meet again at the Urquiza's ranch for the memorial of the late family head. Just when Michi thinks he is on the winning side with Camila, Marie Claire makes her grand entrance.

Michi is exiled from the ranch and looks for a way to stay in Camila's life. Marie Claire makes progress with Fede in Tuscany, but almost gets caught up in her own lies. Balbina reveals her true plans.

Michi and Marie Claire temporarily make peace and work together to stop Balbina, but when they seem to take a step forward, they actually take two steps back. This time, the battleground is an exclusive Versailles-themed party.

Frustrated, Marie Claire and Michi realise that they have only succeeded in driving the Urquiza family even further apart. Problems intensify when Fede decides to organise an event.
