When agents of the Empire arrive on the desert planet of Tatooine looking for escaped Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi emerges after years of hiding. Meanwhile, a young Princess Leia tries to avoid the attention of a bounty hunter.

Obi-Wan travels to the planet Alderaan to uncover a conspiracy relating to the Skywalker children. However, Obi-Wan quickly becomes a target of both the criminal underworld and the Grand Inquisitor.

With the kidnapped princess now by his side, Obi-Wan attempts to search for allies. However, he attracts the attention of not only the Empire, but also one of his oldest friends.

Obi-Wan and Tala infiltrate the Inquisitor's stronghold to rescue a captured Leia. Third Sister and the remaining inquisitors attempt to prove their worth to Darth Vader by finally hunting down Kenobi.

Obi-Wan plans his next move as the Empire slowly begins to close in around him. As Vader tries to reach out to his old friend, Obi-Wan attempts to reason with Reva in order to save the Path.

As Reva continues her pursuit of Luke, Obi-Wan prepares to face Darth Vader one last time. The two chase after their own destinies, Reva wishing to punish those who hurt her whilst Obi-Wan attempts to reach out to his old friend.
