Josy, the 13-year-old daughter of the well-known psychiatrist Viktor Larenz, disappears under unexplained circumstances. Two years later, a mysterious woman turns up, forcing him to deal with the disappearance.

Berlin psychiatrist Viktor Larenz wants to escape the anniversary of his daughter Josy's disappearance on a North Sea island. There he is visited by the mysterious Anna Spiegel, who seems to know more about Josy's fate.

Frantic
Larenz feels unwell and searches for Anna Spiegel to find out more about the disappearance of his daughter. He gets unexpected support from Bentje, a young local who works in the hotel.

Adrift
On Parkum, the situation is out of control. Feeling increasingly unwell, Larenz believes he's being threatened by Anna Spiegel, so lets his neighbour, Halberstaedt, teach him how to handle a gun.

After the Storm
Viktor must face up to the consequences of the tragedy and is forced to remember events from two years ago that he would rather forget. Roth attempts to patch up his relationship with his daughter Mila, but once again, his job stands in his way.

Viktor tries to come to terms with the new reality of his life. He decides on a drastic step to help him uncover the secret of Josy's disappearance. Only his old friend Riegger can help him.
