It's Dragon Day in Glipwood and visitors come to hear the migrating sea dragon song; Janner is in charge of his siblings but runs into trouble with a bullying Fang of Dang before an accidental encounter with the mysterious sea dragons.

The kids play a game of Zibzy outside town, but a lost ball leads to a strange encounter with Peet the Sockman; Janner and Tink return to Books & Crannies and stumble upon a mysterious map.

Janner is taunted by the Fang Slarb with terrible news which his parents take to the mayor; the kids follow the map and discover a secret that changes everything.

The kids get rescued by Peet and discover a fantastic hideout; the Fang Slarb picks a fight with his garrison, with dangerous consequences.

The Igiby kids have a plan, but Oskar doesn't agree; Ferinia gets help from a few friends, while Commander Gnorm tries to make a deal before the Black Carriage arrives.
