Bian is in love with Sarah, but he marries Tari to please his parents. However, he presents her with a marriage contract stating that their marriage will end in a year. Tari signs the contract, but cracks start to show in their relationship.

Tari decides to spend time alone to collect herself and decide whether or not she will keep fighting for her marriage. Bian cannot leave Sarah but does not want to lose Tari. Sarah realizes that Bian's feelings for her have changed.

After a stormy first year, Bian and Tari live happily together and decide to make another agreement.
