The girls find out that Fred has been hiding his relationship with Emma, who is due back to Canada.

The three ex-wives bring the girls on Friday Night Out and invite themselves to a Sunday brunch at Fred's house to get to know Emma. Clara challenges the family to not buy anything all weekend.

Double Axel
Marie-Ange gives the family a virtual assistant called Axel. Clara learns to respect Emma's privacy. Romy, totally addicted to an online game, is furious when she discovers Emma writing about her in her thesis.

The Deep End
When Fred falls ill, Emma has to look after the girls on her own. Vic feels nervous about her synchronised swimming competition on Sunday as her coach is a real tyrant. Clara insists on going to an environmental protest on Saturday night.

The Neighbor's Get Together
At the neighbourhood party, Emma realises that her new thesis advisor is none other than the inflexible homeowners' chairman, who is also no fan of Fred's annoying and noisy family. The girls come up with a plan.

The Ranch's Farewell
Clara wants to get rid of her children's things and sell them on a second-hand market. Romy has a hard time accepting the changes in her family dynamics. The family tries to learn how to let go.
