S1, E1: After the death of her mother, Arene has to leave Barcelona. Her father decides to return to the town of Learo in Basque Country. There, Arene, her father, and her sister live at her grandfather's house. Her father, Peio, starts working as a broadcaster at a local radio station, where he meets Ane, his work colleague. On the first day of school, Arene and her younger sister Lili plan on being inconspicuous. However, the minute they walk through the door, Arene gets into a fight with a schoolmate. After the school director and the parents of both girls have a meeting, the girls spend the entire afternoon in the detention classroom. In addition to the girl Arene fought, some boys who had broken a window join them in the detention classroom, where they are told to write an essay about respect.
