Ten months after the murder of Yan, Ming is relegated to the backseat of mundane office work, pending internal investigation. His wife, Mary, has separated from him, taking with her their one-year-old daughter. However, his efforts invariably fail each time he is on the verge of unraveling the truth. Only too late does he realize that he has already been cornered to a dead end by Yeung and Shen… Never really trusted despite working under Sam’s wing for two years, Yan finally succeeds in gaining Sam’s confidence.
