Truman High is a charter high school in Los Angeles run by Principal Ronald Douche (Keegan-Michael Key), filled with crazy faculty and out of control students. In spite of this, English teacher Mitch Carter wins California Teacher of the Year, prompting other schools to aggressively try to poach him. Now, Mitch is left with a choice: go where he is actually wanted, or stay where he is so desperately needed?
