Жорж Вильсон

Georges Wilson was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Wilson kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "The Green Mare" (1961) with Bourvil. He was nominated for a BAFTA Award for "The Long Absence" in 1962. This new success propelled him to seek out a role in the Guy Bedos musical comedy "Sweet and Sour" (1963). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the sixties and the seventies, appearing in the drama "Beatrice Cenci" (1969) with Tomas Milian, "Max et les Ferrailleurs" (1970) and the period drama "Blanche" (1971) with Ligia Branice. He also appeared in the fantastical comedy "Les Chinois a Paris" (1973) with Jean Yanne. Toward the end of his career, he continued to act in the Zygmunt Malanowicz drama "Cserepek" (1981), "Itineraire Bis" (1982) and the Marie Laforet musical "Tangos - L'exil de Gardel" (1986). Wilson's distinctive voice can be heard on "Les Fruits de la Passion" (1981). Most recently, Wilson acted in the crime feature "Mesrine: Public Enemy Number One" (2010) with Vincent Cassel.
