Iranian-born co-founder (with former engineer Johan Wassennaar) of Vidmark Entertainment, originally set up to distribute low-budget films on video. In 1990, Amin and executive vice president Sam Pirnazar established branches of the company to handle international distribution as well as production under the banner of Trimark Pictures.
