William Wise

Actor William Wise got his start in acting when he was just 17 years old. Wise kicked off his entertainment career by acting in action flicks like "Farewell to the King" (1989) starring Nick Nolte and "Blue Steel" (1990) with Jamie Lee Curtis. He had a part on the television special "Summer Stories: The Mall" (ABC, 1991-92). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "Law & Order" (NBC, 1990-2010). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the Dana Ashbrook comedy "Comfortably Numb" (1995) and the Jon Cryer dramedy "Went to Coney Island on a Mission From God...Be Back by Five" (2000). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" (NBC, 1999-). He followed this recognition with roles in the Alison Elliott drama "Red Betsy" (2003), and the drama "The Tollbooth" (2006) with Marla Sokoloff, Wise most recently appeared in "Taking Chance" (HBO, 2008-09).
