Fiona Gubelmann

Fiona Gubelmann

Born in Santa Monica and raised in southern California, actress Fiona Gubelmann enjoyed acting and dancing since she was preschool aged. Although she was active in theater and drama groups as a child and a teenager, Gubelmann initially enrolled at UCLA as part of the school's premedical program. After performing in an on-campus play Gubelmann decided that she enjoyed acting so much that she wanted to switch her major to theatre. Gubelmann's first professional acting experience on television came in 2003 when she was cast in a role on UPN's "The Mullets" (2003-04). Throughout the 2000s and the first half of the 2010s, Gubelmann worked in television regularly, booking one or two episode guest appearances on shows like "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010), "The Mountain" (WB 2004-05), "Joey" (NBC, 2004-06), "My Name is Earl" (NBC, 2005-09), and "Californication" (Showtime, 2007-14). In 2011, Gubelmann received the script for "Wilfred" (FX, 2011-13, FXX 2013-14), a dark comedy starring Elijah Wood. Gubelmann co-starred as Wood's next door neighbor, TV producer Jenna Mueller.
