The Barbapapas are a family of blobby beings that can transform their shape into anything they wish. Together this unusual family go on many adventures to find their place on this world; while helping other people and animals around them.

Barbapapa Lotte and Stefan go on a deep-sea adventure when a trip to the beach sets them away on an underwater expedition.

A lonely Barbapapa wants nothing more than to find his Barbamama so he sets out on a road trip with Lotte and Stefan/

The gang are at sea searching for others who may have arrived. Barbapapa morphs into a hovercraft so that they can search the sea more quickly.

While on a trip with Lotte and Stefan Barbapap finds himself in India - where he makes a new friend named Fakir.
