Tae Hyun leads a double life as a doctor to gangsters at night, and a resident at Hanshin hospital during the day; during the new intern initiation, he gets an emergency call to the surgery room where the blood is spilling out of the patient.

Tae Hyun is in trouble for illegally seeing patients; the detectives find out that the scalpel left by Tae Hyun is from Hanshin hospital and asks Chief Lee for the paperwork.

Yong Pal takes epinephrine with Doo Chul to evade the police; they jump into the river and get out of the sight of the detectives; Yeo Jin has a dream-like memory of her boyfriend; when she wakes up, and the head nurse attends to her immediately.

Tae Hyun meets Do Joon's wife, has some food and drinks with her, and wakes up the next day alone in bed; though Chae Young pretends not to know what happened, Do Joon's secretary is fully aware and has pictures of them.

Tae Hyun doesn't receive a phone call well when a loan shark informs him of his debt; his sister's condition worsens, which calls him to find more monetary support; Yeo Jin, who is also caught being flirty with Tae Hyun, offers him money.

Furious that he can't kill Yeo Jin, Do Joon smacks nurse Hwang for opposing his idea; Yeo Jin discovers what's happening and asks Tae Hyun for help reaching President Ko; President Ko's men battle Do Joon's staff in the hospital.
