Eun-gyeol moves to a new neighborhood, learns how to play guitar from a music store owner and deals with bullies at school.

Eun-gyeol joins SPINE9, an indie band in Hongdae, but decides to give up music after his father finds out and gets angry.

Eun-gyeol is transported to 1995 and meets his young father, who wants to start a band for a girl. He pretends to be Yoon Dong-jin, a musical genius.

Eun-gyeol meets a teenage Se-kyung and feels confused as he learns about her life. He tries to follow Yi-chan and becomes his math tutor.

Eun-gyeol decides to stay by Yi-chan's side to protect him from the accident that will cause him to be deaf. They form a band to play at the school festival.

Eun-gyeol, a high school student and guitarist whose parents are hearing-impaired, travels back in time and meets his teenage father.
