Confession

Two similar murder cases arise during five years, and Han Jonggu is being accused as the suspect. However, lawyer Choe Dohyeon denies this and defends Jonggu, while a veteran detective Gi Chunho thinks otherwise.

Chunho appears in front of Dohyeon in five years, claiming that he will prove Jonggu's innocence, but under one condition. Meanwhile, Jonggu is heavily suspected as the murderer.

Dohyeon asks Jonggu for his confession regarding the murder case five years ago, with the help of Chunho. Meanwhile, Dohyeon finds an important lead towards his father's case.

Gyeongseon, who took care of Dohyeon and Yuri when they were young, is accused of negligence at work. Dohyeon investigates this case, and is in shock. Meanwhile, Jonggu reveals his true identity to Dohyeon.

Dohyeon continues to be surprised while investigating Gyeongseon's case. Meanwhile, Chunho misunderstands Dohyeon's relationship with Jonggu, and becomes furious.

Chunho confirms that the suspect of the Changhyeon-dong case and the Kim sunhee case are the same. Meanwhile, Yuri feels something has gone wrong regarding her father's death while looking at her father's belongings.
