Tout pour Agnès

Renée Le Roux runs the Palais de la Méditerranée, one of France's leading casinos, with an iron fist. It may be an institution, but it is in trouble, ruined by poor management and under attack from the competition.

Renée Le Roux has taken over as manager of the Palais. When she refuses to appoint Maurice Agnelet as general director, he vows revenge. He then sets out to win the heart of her daughter, Agnès, who is already in love with him.

Agnès' disappears and no one sees her for four months. Alerted by Renée Le Roux, the police discover a farewell note in Agnès's flat that suggests she has committed suicide. Renée Le Roux refuses to believe it.

The years pass and the investigation stagnates. Only Renée Le Roux continues the fight to discover the truth about Agnès's death. Maurice Agnelet is found guilty in the financial chapter of the case and ends up in prison.
